Cool video. I’m going up for my third flight lesson and I need to take off correctly. I let the nose yaw and bank to the left a little. I need to control that for a straight ahead take off.

I went on a $25 plane ride in Indiana. I was 15 years old at the time. Loved flight simulator and always flew the 172. The pilot showed me how to check for water in the fuel then I told him about the controls. I jumped in the right seat and he told me “Hey smart ass, you’re in the wrong seat, you fly it. From start, taxi, takeoff to a power off crosswind landing. He signed my FSM manual with his name, plane and flight time. I have to do it again!

  12. Jet3800 says:

i thought you only need a permit to fly solo

  13. biqb says:

yea i noticed that but my instructor told me that all my time on the simulator has helped

  14. biqb says:

it was an intro flight but i started lessons also I don’t need my student pilot permit yet, i have to get my physical first though but i only need that before i solo at 16..correct me if im wrong

  15. SweatyFunSeeker says:

dont get too used to the simulator its a whole lot more diffrent in the cockpit

  16. Amire92 says:

hey, how was your lesson? Was it a lesson or just an intro flight because you need a student pilot permit for lessons.

  20. Delollis5 says:

need to watch out on the flight sims. There fun and they can help with navigation and instrument but landing is way different then in real life then it is on a sim.

  21. biqb says:

I am 14…i have been practicing on a simulator for years now and I am taking my first flying lesson this monday but i turn 15 in November I’m sure you can start lessons at 14

  22. biqb says:

Yes you can like my dad has to wear glasses to fly and drive but not for anything else..

  23. kevininheven says:

    what are knots?

  24. kevininheven says:

actually its 16 and u need your private licence then u can get higher ranks on licences like to fly an airbus intl…and if u r 14 and looking forward to being a pilot i insist u get a flight simular at elctronic stores like best buy… if u want to see wat flight simulator x is then search it on youtube

  25. kevininheven says:

well if its true u can always get a legal sugery if the airport is ok with it…i forgot wat the sugery was called tho…but i know its not lasik eye surgery
