There’s no minimum age, but you need to be 16 to solo, 17 to be licensed. You can solo a glider at 14, though. There’s serious medical limits to flying, so you should have an aviation medical exam to be sure you’re not wasting your time. You can’t fly, for example, if you’re visually handicapped, have diabetes, or sickle cell anemia, or high blood pressure. You can’t be a commercial pilot if you’re color blind or deaf. A regular medical won’t do. You must have an aviation medical. See your local FAA office for more info.

There is no minimum age to start training. I would check the laws in your state though as many of the laws vary state to state. But, federal state that you have to be 17 to receive your license. Then you have to have so many flight hours to fly solo. Go to the FAA website and I am sure they will have a list of all you need to know.

You can start logging hours with an instructor at 14, fly solo at 16, and get your private pilot’s license at 17. I’d recommend waiting until you’re 16 to start so that you can solo right away and not wait around for years to advance. Also, after you earn your PPL at 17 you can start working straight away on your instrument rating.

Well at 13 you cant do much although you can take flight lessons.
I do recommend getting SPL (student pilots license), and get as much training as you can before your 16, so that if you’vee had enough hours before your 16, you can go on your first solo at 16.

Right now, obviously you can only fly with an instructor although he will still let you fly as he teaches you the basics and what you need to know.

Go to a small airport and look through the net for flying lessons near you.

When you find one, just ask for an introductory flight and they will tell you what you should be doing. (forms, flying etc) They will guide you on the right steps to flying, weather you want to fly commercially or just want to do it for recreation.
Just note that flying isn’t cheap and a 1 hour lesson (depending on the plane) is about roughly $130- $160

Don’t worry too much on what you have to do with your PPL’s and future flying, just let your flight club/school know of your conditions (medical, etc.) and your intentions, (what you want to do with aviation) and just focus on flying and studying. They will guide you with your steps PPL’s Endorsements and Ratings and maybe even one day, your CPL! (commercial pilot license).

    Have fun
    Kind Regards.
